Our Story

Introduction

PHR was established with a clear objective: to deliver high-quality energy and building improvements that stand the test of time.

From the beginning our focus has been on responsible installation, regulatory compliance and long-term performance. As energy standards, funding frameworks and building regulations have evolved, so too have we.

What started as a renewable and building services installer has developed into a comprehensive energy and retrofit specialist, combining on-site expertise with structured consultancy and compliance services. Today we operate across North Wales, Cheshire, the Wirral and the wider North West.

Whole-Property, Turnkey Delivery

Energy improvements work best when delivered as a coordinated programme rather than isolated upgrades. PHR provides a whole-property, turnkey solution covering renewable energy systems, mechanical and electrical installations, insulation, retrofit coordination and compliance documentation — all managed under one roof.

From initial assessment through to installation and commissioning, we provide clear accountability and professional oversight throughout.

Our Approach

Energy efficiency projects today require building performance awareness, regulatory alignment, structured planning and long-term thinking. PHR recognised this shift early and expanded into retrofit assessment and compliance services alongside our installation work.

Our priorities on every project are consistent: clear advice over sales pressure, compliance over shortcuts, quality workmanship over speed, and whole-building thinking over isolated fixes.

Our People

The energy and building services industry moves quickly. Standards change, technologies advance and compliance requirements become more detailed. We invest continuously in technical training, manufacturer accreditations and workforce development — including apprenticeships — to ensure our team remains competent and current.

Our Region

PHR is committed to the communities we operate in across North Wales, Cheshire, the Wirral and the wider North West. We understand the regional housing stock, local funding frameworks and the challenges facing both domestic and commercial property owners in this part of the country. We are proud to contribute to safer, more efficient and more sustainable buildings across the region.
